What is Grexta?
Grexta is a work platform we are building so teams can work with AI together, not one person at a time. We are creating a system where people, AI assistants, and agents meet in the same workspace, and where conversations, tasks, tools, and decisions move forward inside shared context.
A large part of AI use today still happens in individual chat windows. Within a team, different people use different models for the same subject, context becomes fragmented, and the reasons behind actions disappear. When a model reaches an external tool, who it acted for, under which permission, and at what cost are often tracked separately—if they are tracked at all.
Grexta starts from that fragmentation. We treat AI not merely as something that answers questions, but as a controlled part of the team's working system.
Our aim is not simply to add AI beside teams; it is to build the working surface where people and AI can operate on the same work, inside the same context and rules.
What problem are we solving?
Asking an AI model a question has become easy. The difficult part is bringing that capability reliably into a team's real workflow. At team scale, answer quality alone is not enough. Context must be shared, authority must be bounded, critical actions must be approval-aware, activity must be recorded, and cost must be visible.
That is why we are designing Grexta not as a “model interface,” but as a coordination layer for work carried out with AI.
Fragmented context
When knowledge is fragmented across chats and people, teams have to explain the same problem repeatedly. Grexta works around shared sessions and shared knowledge context.
Uncontrolled action
If an agent can act in external systems, the question “may it do this?” cannot be left to the model alone. Permissions, workspace policy, and human approval where needed are separate control layers.
Invisible usage
When model and tool usage are invisible, teams cannot understand what ran, what failed, or where cost was created. Grexta treats usage and execution trace as part of the product.
How does Grexta work?
In Grexta, an AI turn is more than “send a message, receive an answer.” Workspace rules and permissions are evaluated; suitable models and tools are determined; an agent can use tools, pause for human approval before a critical action, and return the result to the shared working context. Usage and decision traces can also be tracked through the system.
Shared workspaces
People and AI assistants work within the same topic, session, and team context, so AI work becomes part of the team's work instead of disappearing inside a personal tab.
Agents and multi-step work
Assistants are not limited to generating text. They can use permitted tools, break work into steps, hand work off where appropriate, and return results into the shared session.
Tools and integrations
Grexta is designed to work with its own tools as well as MCP-based external tools and connectors. A connected integration does not mean an agent can automatically perform every action.
Human approval
For actions that policy requires, an agent can pause, present an approval request to a person, and resume from where it stopped after a decision is made.
Multi-model approach
We are not building the product around a single model provider. We aim for different model routes to serve different tasks and capabilities behind one product experience.
Usage and cost control
Model and priced-tool usage can be measured; workspace limits and spend controls make the operational side of AI usage governable as well.
What is different about our approach
At Grexta, security and governance are not treated as an “enterprise package” to be added later. Which tools a model can see, under what conditions a tool may run, when human approval is required, and how an action is recorded are part of the way the product works.
Likewise, we do not make one model the identity of the product. Models will change, providers will change, and AI infrastructure will keep evolving. We focus on the more durable problem: how a team works with AI.
The model reasons; the system grants authority
An AI may propose or request an action, but whether that action can actually run is determined through workspace rules and permissions.
Humans stay in the loop
For us, autonomy does not mean removing people from the system. Where necessary, an agent should pause, show what it intends to do, and let a person decide.
Traceability is foundational
Especially for tool-using agents, the execution itself matters—not just the final result. Critical actions, decisions, and usage should therefore be reviewable afterwards.
Who is Grexta for?
We are building Grexta for teams that want AI to become part of how the team works, not merely an individual productivity tool. We focus especially on environments where multiple people work on the same information and processes, where actions touch external systems, and where the question “who did what, under which authority?” matters.
That may be a software team, operations, research, product, support, or another knowledge-work team. The shared need is the same: AI should be capable without becoming disconnected from the team, its context, or its controls.
Our mission and direction
Our mission is to bring AI into teams' daily workflows without giving up collaboration, control, or accountability. We want AI use to move beyond separate chat windows and become a natural part of the team's shared working memory and processes.
Long term, we see a working layer where people do not have to manage isolated AI tools one by one; where the right agents can work with the right knowledge and tools under the right authority. We are building Grexta to help make that layer possible.
