Who are we?
Grexta is being built together by the Grexta Co-Founders. As co-founders, we work directly across the product—from the original idea and architecture to day-to-day development and user experience.
We do not see ourselves as simply building another AI interface. The core subject we work on is the harder set of questions that appear when AI systems enter real teams: How do a person and an agent work on the same task? Who owns context? What may an agent do on its own? When should it stop and ask a person? Can we understand afterwards what actually happened?
A large part of Grexta's product decisions comes from how we answer those questions.
Why did we start?
AI tools gained extraordinary capabilities in a very short time, but the way teams use them did not mature at the same speed. People work across separate accounts, chats, and tools. Valuable context remains trapped in individual histories. A method discovered by one person is not automatically carried to another. When agents connect to external systems, the lines of authority and responsibility become blurry.
For us, the opportunity was not to build “a better chat screen.” The real opportunity was to rethink the operating model for teams working with AI. Grexta grew from that idea.
For us, the question is not only how much AI can do, but how that work becomes meaningful, safe, and sustainable inside a team.
What do we believe?
AI can be a teammate without becoming the authority
Agents can be capable, carry out multi-step work, and use tools. But the boundaries around critical decisions and authority should remain explicit in the product.
Context should become a team asset
How a problem was solved, which decisions were made, and what knowledge matters should not remain trapped in one person's chat history.
Autonomy and control are not opposites
With the right boundaries, approval flows, and records, more work can be delegated to agents. Control can make autonomy safer rather than preventing it.
Models change; the working system remains
Today's best model may change tomorrow. We therefore build Grexta's core value around the team, context, authority, tools, and workflow layer—not a single provider.
How do we build the product?
We build Grexta's important capabilities by thinking through the end-to-end behaviour of a real agent workflow. We pay particular attention to keeping model calls, tool use, approvals, execution records, and cost from becoming disconnected pieces.
For us, it is not enough for a feature simply to “work.” Can the user understand what happened? Is it clear what the agent is allowed to do? Can a failure be located? Can the same behaviour remain consistent across different models and providers? We try to test product decisions against these questions.
Show the real state
If the system is running, waiting, requesting approval, or failing, we prefer not to hide that state from the user.
Keep rules close to execution
Instead of leaving permissions and policy controls only in administration screens, we connect them to actual model and tool execution.
Design for changing infrastructure
We assume models, providers, and agent infrastructure will change rapidly, and try to keep the product's core operating model as independent from those changes as possible.
Grexta today
Grexta is an actively developed product. In today's platform, workspaces and shared AI sessions, assistant and agent execution, tools and connectors, workspace policies, human approvals, audit records, knowledge and memory context, model usage, and cost controls are treated as parts of the same product architecture.
Where the product is today is not its final form for us. We are preparing for a world in which AI agents can reliably take on longer-running and more real work. Our architecture and product decisions are therefore shaped not only around today's chat usage, but also around the needs of agents that will work alongside teams in the future.
